We got to work devising a compelling narrative that wove the dual issues of climate change and child health together with a newsworthy hook – the rising cost of living – ensuring the resulting campaign would appeal to journalists and politicians alike.

We unearthed reams of data and poignant insights from real families, then combined these elements with the narrative to create a compelling, well-written and beautifully designed advocacy report. Titled ‘Hothouse Australia: Our kids at risk as heat soars’, it outlined the problem, explained why it was an important issue for the country, and then provided evidence-based recommendations for policy changes.

Of course, it doesn’t matter how good your report is if no one reads it. Which is why we drew on our media expertise to secure national coverage for the campaign, elevating our client’s voice and sparking important conversations about the urgent need for action, with further media interest lasting months after its initial release.
