To support the AWU’s grant application, we engaged directly with the granting body’s decision-makers to uncover the funding program's unstated priorities, then worked with the Victorian Branch’s team to map their capabilities against government objectives. This unearthed insights that would prove instrumental in crafting a compelling application.
From there, we developed a narrative that transcended a standard funding request. Instead of merely answering prescribed questions, we built a cohesive story that positioned the union’s strengths within the broader context of Victoria's manufacturing future. This transformed their industry expertise, member connections, and proven track record into a persuasive case backed by evidence.

The result of this narrative approach spoke for itself: a successful application that secured vital government funding in a competitive field where many others fell short. By telling a compelling story, the application didn’t just meet the selection criteria – it illuminated the union's unique capacity to deliver real change that decision-makers couldn't ignore.

By spotlighting the AWU’s deep industry connections and proven advocacy work, we helped the Victorian Branch obtain resources that will create meaningful pathways for women in a traditionally male-dominated sector. This funding unlocks opportunities that will continue opening doors and breaking barriers for years to come.
