We love stories so much we decided to make a whole magazine about them. A print magazine, no less, in an age where printing mags is considered borderline fiscally irresponsible.
We call it our most expensive business card ever. You can call it The Story.
What's The Story?
The Story is a magazine about stories. The forms they take, the people who tell them, the ways they get under our skin. We like to think it’s just the right amount of meta: stories about stories. Without getting too cute about it.
In 2021, The Story began as a free digital publication, which you can read here. A few years later, we decided to reimagine it all as an honest-to-goodness print magazine, full of new stories. It is made of paper and ink, and it is very much not free.
So, why would a busy comms agency go to all the trouble of making a magazine? Basically, for the hell of it. We’re creative people who love making cool things. We know stories like the backs of our hands. And when we see a sustainably forested tree plantation, our inner print geeks get very excited.
